Project Update 7/16/12
Marina Boulevard DPW contractor A. Ruiz Construction Inc. are grinding away the old asphalt, between Laguna and Buchanan in front of the Safeway. The roadway is open to thru traffic, however motorists should expect minor delays. This work will wrap up Wednesday with final paving.
Columbus Street Curb-ramp work began last week July 9th and sewer work at the Bay Street intersection will begin sometime this week July 16th.
Project Description
This project includes curb-ramp replacement with new ADA ramps, sidewalk, curb and gutter, parking strip, bus-pad and track removal.
Additionally there will be some spot-sewer repairs on Lyon Street between Union Street and Lombard (3-blocks) and on Columbus between Bay Street and Chesnut Street (2-blocks).
Lastly road-base repair and ashphalt paving will complete this project.

Marina Boulevard (Laguna Street to Scott Street) 5-blocks
Lyon Street (Green Street to Francisco Street) 6- blocks
Columbus Avenue (Powell Street to Beach Street) 7-blocks
