SFMTA to reroute the #14, 14L and 49 Mission Muni lines
San Francisco- The San Francisco Department of Public Works (DPW), the Public Utilities Commission (PUC) and the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) are collaborating to expedite scheduled infrastructure repairs along Mission Street between 16th Street and Cesar Chavez, which will result in reroutes of three Mission Muni lines beginning this weekend.
On Saturday, March 3rd, Muni will begin to reroute the 14 Mission, 14L Mission Limited and 49 Mission/Van Ness buses from Mission Street to South Van Ness between 14th and 26th streets. In addition, minor reroutes to other Inner Mission buses will be required from time to time. The temporary bus routes will remain in place for the duration of the project (approximately six months).
