PROJECT UPDATE
December 15, 2011 - Our project is substantially complete. Neighbors can expect to see contractor crews and city staff onsite for the next few weeks to address punch-list items as we close out the project. Join Mayor Ed Lee and City agency partners for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 11:00 am, to celebrate the completion of our project.
PROJECT INFORMATION
The Department of Public Works has made major roadway renovations on Newcomb Avenue between Newhall and Phelps Street. The improvements included sewer-main replacement, roadway paving, sidewalk replacement, installation od new ADA curb-ramps, landscaping and traffic routing. Additionally this project included the installation of special brick-pavers which not only enhance the esthetics of the block but also improves the drainage capabilities.
We would like to thank the neighbors for their patience, cooperation, continued support throughout construction. We did our best to minimize the disruption and impacts from our work.
