The Department of Public Works plans, designs and renovates many recreation centers around San Francisco. Some of these projects include playgrounds, pools and clubhouses, as well as historic sites within Golden Gate Park. With strong community support, we have reclaimed neighborhood parks, providing space to enjoy the great outdoors and new destinations for residents and visitors. By continually improving indoor and outdoor facilities, we are able to enhance life in the City of San Francisco.
Projects listed are in various stages of development or renovation including design, construction, or are completed and open to the public. Please visit these project pages to learn more.
